Welcome to the Newtongrange Petanque Club web site. Formed in the summer of 2022, we’re still quite young, but we are now the largest club in Midlothian, with nearly 50 members, and the second largest Petanque club in Scotland!
We are affiliated to the Scottish Petanque Association.
Come and see us at Welfare Park’s new Petanque piste - club times are;
- Tuesdays: 2 - 5pm (summer) 1 - 4pm (winter)
- Wednesdays: 6.30 - 8.30pm (summer)
- Thursdays: 2 - 5pm (summer) 1 - 4pm (winter)
- Sundays: 11am - 2pm
The piste is open to the community - if you have your own boules, then come along and make use of the facilities. If not, then you may be able to have an impromptu lesson on the finer points of the sport, during one of the club times.
