Born to Play Comes to Newtongrange

The Born To Play competition saw eight teams, from several Petanque clubs throughout the Lothians, battle it out at the Newtongrange Petanque piste in Welfare Park, on Sunday 7th May. The victors today turned out to be our very own Nitten Bulls & Belle (Jake H, Gary G & Kaye S), who defeated Penicuik Hares 13 - 3 in the final, and progress to the Grand Final at Roslin next month. The result means a 2nd win for Kaye in two days, having won the main consolage at Moffat Open Triples the previous day. Well played.
