Busy Weekend Ahoy

Well… it’s nearly the weekend of our Gala competition. The registration window has closed, and we’ve had 20 members of the public sign up to take part in the competition. A big thank you for a big turn out! In fact, due to the number of people, we’ve had to alter the team make up from Triples to Doubles, as we don’t have 40 NPC members available! It’ll still be a hotly contested set of matches, with each player having 3 boules instead of the 2 boules used in Triples.

Tomorrow evening will see the draw take place - pairing up the public with their NPC team-mate. On Sunday morning from 10am until 10:20am, we’ll have registration. Remember to bring your £2 entry fee (that includes the NPC members!) - cash only, there’s no contactless here!

We’ll then have a quick run down of the rules, and then into the competition proper. Good luck everybody!

Note: It is forecast for good weather, so bring refreshments. The competition will last a good few hours - at least 3, so bring some snacks to keep you going! There will be toilet facilities available.
